DEGREE in KARATE :
Holds a degree in Traditional Karate
from the prestigious Japan Karate
Institute. Awarded to him by Hanshi Ronnie Colwell 9th Dan
in April 2006. This Degree is only
awarded to those who achieve high
standard of Karate both Nationally and
Internationally. It is not presented to
those with grades less than Sandan (3rd
Dan). Less than 50 Karate-kas have been
awarded this Degree around the world.
Chris is one
of the two Maltese teachers (Lucienne
Galea) who achieved this degree.
INTERNATIONAL:
Teaches and conducts
grading examinations at various
organizations in Italy, Ireland, and
UK. Teaches at various organizations in
UK, Italy, Holland and Ireland. Kumite
Referee and Kata Judge for several
International Karate Championships in
Malta, UK and Italy.
ACHIEVEMENTS : INTERNATIONAL and NATIONAL
SCENE: Several
winning titles, including Maltese Open
Championships, English BKI Open, TKI
International London, AMA Masters
Championships, World Cup for
clubs (Vasto) Italy.
PRESENT :
Coaches and trains Maltese Karate
athletes for International Events. Still
active on the International scene as a
Coach and SKSM Malta Team Manager.
Organizer of all the editions of the
MALTA KARATE INTERNATIONAL OPEN
Championships, the Four Nations Cup
editions and other National and
International Karate Competitions.
